AWANA Program

Come join our AWANA program every Wednesday evening from 6:45 - 8:15. (August - May)

New clubbers are invited to join us at anytime. AWANA is a spiritual training program designed to help raise children to love, serve, and learn more about Christ. At AWANA the children have fun with other kids their age, playing games, singing songs and learning scriptural verses. Here at North Cary Baptist Church we have AWANA programs for ages 3 years through 6th grade.

Cubbies are ages 3yrs - up until entry into Kindergarten.
In cubbies we listen to stories about the Bible and have fun coloring and listening, singing, and learning songs. We enjoy snacks and play time, as well as learn scripture verses that go along with a weekly lesson. The children have vests where they earn patches through saying their scripture verses. The children also have handbooks that contain all the weekly scriptures that include simple activities that can be done at home to reinforce our clubbers learning.

Sparkies are Kindergarten - Second Grade.
Kids love their Spark uniforms, their signature red vests where they can collect patches, pins and jewel awards for working their way through their handbooks. They also enjoy games and spending time with leaders and friends.

Sparks is divided into three years, each with it's own handbook. Each year, Sparks clubbers:
- Explore people of the Bible from different Scriptures
- Memorize Weekly Bible verses
- Complete handbook activities

T & T's are Third Grade - Sixth Grade.
Handbooks and Council Time deepen a child's knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.

T&T is comprised of two sections with distinct curriculum:
- T&T Ultimate Adventure for third and fourth grades
- T&T Ultimate Challenge for fifth and sixth grades

T&T is designed to help kids stay plugged into Christ as they move into the preteen years and continue growing in their relationship with Him.
